Rapid set is accurate. You have about 30-40 mins to work with it, which is plenty. Hardened off nicely in 90 mins ready for tiling.

Can this be used outside?

No, BritLevel Reinforced is specified for interior use only. For external levelling, you would require a dedicated external-grade compound.

Can I use BritLevel Reinforced on wooden floors?

Yes. Because it is fibre reinforced and polymer modified, it is flexible enough to handle the slight movement associated with strengthened timber floors and plywood overlays.

How deep can I pour this leveller in one go?

BritLevel Reinforced is extremely versatile. You can pour it from a feather edge of 3mm up to 50mm in a single application, making it ideal for correcting severely uneven substrates.

Is this suitable for Underfloor Heating (UFH)?

Absolutely. The fibre reinforcement provides thermal stability, making it perfect for encasing electric underfloor heating cables or piped systems without cracking as the temperature changes.

How long before I can tile over it?

This is a rapid-setting compound. It accepts light foot traffic after just 90 minutes, and you can typically begin tiling after 2 to 3 hours, depending on the room temperature.

Do I need to prime the floor first?

We always recommend priming the substrate (especially absorbent surfaces like concrete or timber) with an acrylic primer before applying. This prevents the subfloor from sucking the water out of the mix too fast and ensures a better flow.
