Built for Anhydrite Precision & Pump Efficiency

BritLevel Gypsum is a calcium sulphate-based compound, chemically engineered to work harmoniously with anhydrite screeds. We have designed this formula to eliminate the risk of the "cement-gypsum reaction," making it the safest and most efficient choice for levelling over calcium sulphate substrates without aggressive barrier priming.

Words From Our Valued Clients

4.8/5

Pumped beautifully on anhydrite floors

Working on a block of flats with anhydrite floors. This pumped beautifully and leveled out perfectly. Saved us having to sand and seal with epoxy primers.

Martin O. (Site Manager)

Flows better than cement-based alternatives

I hand-mixed this for a smaller room, and it flows even better than cement-based stuff. You barely need to touch it with the spiked roller.

Peter G.

Excellent heat conductor for underfloor heating

Encased my piped underfloor heating pipes in a 20mm layer. Because it's gypsum, it conducts the heat well and didn't crack as it dried.

Thermal Floors Ltd

Bright white colour brightens rooms instantly

The white colour is really handy. It makes the room look brighter instantly and is a great base for light-coloured natural stone.

Jenny W.

Perfect 1 hour pot life for large areas

1 hour pot life is perfect. Gives you enough time to pump a large area without panicking that it's going to go off in the hose.

Screed Pro UK

Compatible with gypsum screed for peace of mind

I've had failures before putting cement leveller on gypsum screed. Switching to this compatible gypsum leveller gives me total peace of mind.

Robert D.

No slumping or shrinkage on deep fills

We had some low spots around 18mm deep. Filled them in one pass. No slumping or shrinkage away from the edges.

K. Adams

Cleaner to work with than grey cement

Doesn't seem as dusty as grey cement bags when mixing. Much cleaner to work with in a finished house.

Simon H.

Fast foot traffic readiness for same-day trades

Was able to walk on it after lunch (about 2 hours). Meant other trades could get back in to paint the skirtings the same day.

BuildFast Solutions

Excellent value for a specialist product

For a specialist product, the pallet price is excellent. We stock up whenever we have a screed job coming up.

L. Taylor

Glass-like finish requires no sanding

Laid vinyl directly onto this. The finish was like glass. Didn't need to sand it at all.

Flooring Concepts

Consistent formula every time

Brit Adhesives have nailed this formula. It behaves exactly the same way every time we use it.

Your Questions, Answered

A 20kg bag will cover approximately 4.5 sq.m at a 3mm depth. Because gypsum is slightly less dense than cement, you get good coverage, but always calculate for the depth you need to fill.

Yes. It is compatible with both matted and piped underfloor heating. Gypsum is naturally thermally conductive and stable, making it an excellent medium for heating systems.

It is a Rapid Setting formula. It accepts light foot traffic after 2 hours. Drying time before covering will depend on the thickness of the layer and ambient humidity.

You can pour this compound from a feather edge of 2mm up to 20mm. This deep pour capability makes it excellent for burying underfloor heating pipes or leveling significantly uneven floors.

Yes. It is specifically formulated to be Suitable for Pump Application. Its high flow rate makes it ideal for large commercial projects where speed and efficiency are key.

Standard levellers are cement-based. When wet cement touches a gypsum (anhydrite) screed, a chemical reaction (creating mineral ettringite) causes the bond to fail. BritLevel Gypsum is calcium sulphate based, meaning it is chemically compatible with the screed, eliminating this risk.
