What is the coverage?

A 20kg bag will cover approximately 4.5 sq.m at a 3mm depth. Because gypsum is slightly less dense than cement, you get good coverage, but always calculate for the depth you need to fill.

Is it safe for Underfloor Heating?

Yes. It is compatible with both matted and piped underfloor heating. Gypsum is naturally thermally conductive and stable, making it an excellent medium for heating systems.

How fast does it dry?

It is a Rapid Setting formula. It accepts light foot traffic after 2 hours. Drying time before covering will depend on the thickness of the layer and ambient humidity.

What depth can I pour to?

You can pour this compound from a feather edge of 2mm up to 20mm. This deep pour capability makes it excellent for burying underfloor heating pipes or leveling significantly uneven floors.

Can I use this with a pump?

Yes. It is specifically formulated to be Suitable for Pump Application. Its high flow rate makes it ideal for large commercial projects where speed and efficiency are key.

Why use a Gypsum leveller instead of a standard one?

Standard levellers are cement-based. When wet cement touches a gypsum (anhydrite) screed, a chemical reaction (creating mineral ettringite) causes the bond to fail. BritLevel Gypsum is calcium sulphate based, meaning it is chemically compatible with the screed, eliminating this risk.
