BritFlex Rapidset is suitable for fixing different tiles including ceramics, slate, limestone, marble, porcelain, terrazzo and mosaics to a variety of surfaces. If used externally then a solid bed method of fixing is recommended. BritFlex Rapidset is suitable for matted underfloor heating.

How long do I have to wait before grouting?

You can grout and allow light foot traffic after 3 hours. This rapid curing time allows you to complete smaller projects in a single day.

Can I use this with Underfloor Heating?

Yes, BritFlex Rapid RS is suitable for matted underfloor heating. The polymer modification ensures it can handle the thermal changes associated with heating mats.

What surfaces can I tile onto?

It is suitable for a variety of surfaces, including concrete, sand/cement screeds, and pre-strengthened wooden floors. It effectively bonds ceramics, slate, limestone, marble, porcelain, terrazzo, and mosaics.

Can I use this outside?

Yes, it is suitable for Interior and Exterior Use. If using externally (e.g., for a patio), we recommend a solid bed method to ensure no water can get trapped behind the tile.

What is the working time (Pot Life)?

The adhesive has a pot life of 40 minutes. Once mixed, you should use the adhesive within this timeframe. Do not try to add more water to "refresh" the mix once it starts to go off.

What is the bed thickness?

This adhesive is designed for a bed thickness of 3mm to 12mm. This range allows you to build up slightly to level out minor imperfections in the floor while fixing the tiles.
